Priefert Roping Boxes provide a safe place for horse and rider to wait for the release of a steer or calf. Our Roping Boxes are sold individually as a “Head Box” or a “Heel Box”. This style of roping box allows you to easily adjust barrier from 16’ to 22’ deep in seconds. The side of the roping box features 3 feet, which are designed to be installed 10” below ground level/under the arena dirt, so no concrete is required. For indoor venues, these feet can sit on the facility’s concrete floor and have arena dirt installed over and around them. The back of the box features a leg with a foot that is designed to rest on top of the ground/arena dirt. The back of the box can be lifted up or folded back to allow ample room for easy dirt leveling. The corner of the box is sheeted on both sides to prevent horses from sitting.
