Litter conditions are very important to the performance and health of today’s market poultry, making proper litter management a top priority for producers. Priefert’s Litter Saver provides poultry producers an efficient and economical way to manage their litter. Not only will the Litter Saver allow you to create great litter conditions for your birds, but it will also save you money in clean out expenses and shavings costs. With this machine, you will have less money in your equipment, less time in house preparation, less maintenance, and you can clean houses in any weather condition. Priefert Litter Savers are “Time Tested – Grower Approved.”Available in 5’ and 7’ widths, our Litter Saver features free-swinging helical shaped hammers (not blades or tines) that pulverize cake and lift and aerate litter from the floor at over 700 RPM. This design allows you to clean up hard pan problems by having dry litter all the way to the house pad, and drier litter increases the “livability” percentage in houses. The skids of the Litter Saver are designed to penetrate litter and ride on top of the pad, for efficient cleaning every time that results in a smooth, soft, well-aerated surface. When attached to your tractor, the Litter Saver is offset to the right side, allowing you to reach all the way to the wall.Time and time again, Priefert’s Litter Saver has been called “the most affordable machine on the market for litter management and control.” This machine allows you to save time and money while being environmentally friendly by giving you the ability to reuse litter.
