This heavy duty, completely reversible crowding system includes a 135 degree sweep with a 30’ working alley. This system also includes a side alley that can be used for sorting or as a lead up to a Calf Table. The SS-12 is great for permanent operations and has several unique, practical features not found in most other solid sweeps that help reduce the labor needed for working cattle. This system features an adjustable alley, two Sheeted Preg Panels, a blocking gate, and an 8’ sorting gate as part of the sweep. We also include an Adjustable Alley Frame with Chute Attachment to go at the end of the alley to make it quick and easy to attach a Priefert Squeeze Chute. The adjustable alley frames can be set to one of four widths to better fit the size of cattle being worked. Our Sheeted Alley Panels are open at the top to allow operators to perform “pour-on” application of insecticides, eliminating the need for costly catwalks and increasing the ease of use for the operator. The Preg Panels can be used to provide secure access for palpation or AI work, and can also double as sorting gates. The Sheeted Adjustable Alley Gate not only lends support to the alley structure, but also serves as a heavy duty roll gate for blocking cattle. This system is constructed with durability in mind to ensure that it can handle the rankest cattle. The Architectural Grade Powder Coat Finish helps the product to resist rust, scratches, and fading to add years of life to your investment.

  • The Sheeted Bow Gate includes the sweeping gate, an alley frame that serves as the initial opening into the crowding alley, and a spring loaded Double Piston Lever Latch.
  • Our Sheeted Curve Panels are specially designed to create our sweep tub and each includes three vertical blocking points that allow the sweep gate to latch. These stops help prevent cattle from pushing the sweep gate back when being crowded.
  • The two Sheeted Preg Panels make it easy for you to palpate or AI cattle. They can also double as sorting gates.
  • Our Sheeted Alley Panels are open at the top to allow operators to perform “pour-on” application of insecticides, eliminating the need for costly catwalks and increasing the ease of use for the operator.
  • Priefert’s unique Adjustable Alley Frames allow operators to quickly and easily adjust the width of the working alley to better fit the size of cattle being work. The alley can be set to 18”, 21”, 25”, or 28” wide.
  • Radius Bars work at ground level to maintain the constant and correct radius for the sweep and the Radius Bow provides support from overhead.
  • Architectural Grade Powder Coat Finish with UV inhibitors add years of life to your investment by helping the product resist rust, scratches and fading.
  • 135 degree sweep is easily reversible so that cattle can be loaded from either side of the working alley, and can be expanded into a complete corral system with the purchase of additional pieces.
  • By pivoting our 10’ wide sweeping bow gate at the inside corner of the alley entrance, livestock flow is improved by eliminating corners that are found in other sweep systems.
  • The 8’ Sheeted Sweep Bow Gate serves as a sorting gate, giving you the option to sort or load out cattle straight from the sweep, without crowding them down the alley.
  • The SS-12 also includes a side alley that can be used for sorting alley or as lead up to calf table. This alley includes 4’ and 8’ access gates on either side of the alley where it attaches to the main working alley.
  • The 30’ long main working alley can easily be lengthened by purchasing additional panels and alley frames.
  • The Sheeted Adjustable Alley Gate is designed to work with our Adjustable Alley Frames and serves as a heavy duty roll gate for blocking cattle.
  • The Adjustable Alley Frame with Chute Attachment allows for quick and easy attachment of your adjustable alley to a Priefert Squeeze Chute (sold separately). The SAAFC will attach directly to our Model S01, S0191, or S04 chute.
